www.li-raen.org - The Long Island Regional Adult Education Network (LI-RAEN) provides technical assistance and professional development to adult literacy, occupational and continuing education programs funded by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). The LI-RAEN serves adult literacy program needs throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties and also works closely with other public service agencies (e.g., state and local Departments of Labor, local Departments of Social Services) within the local workforce development systems to address emerging, transitional, and incumbent workers literacy needs.
